Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Hope Takumi collects when you use this website or work with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it to what we need to reply to you and deliver your project.

What we collect

When you send the “Start a project” form

Your name, email address, company (if you add it), country, the service you need, your budget range, your timeline and your message. You also confirm that you agree to this policy.

When you contact us directly

What you send us by email, WhatsApp or phone, including your contact details and anything you share about your project.

When you send us your profile

Your CV or portfolio and the details in your message, used only to consider you for a role at Hope Takumi.

When you pay us

Payments are handled by Razorpay, through a payment link we send after a quotation is agreed. You enter your payment details on Razorpay’s secure page, not on our website. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank account details. Razorpay tells us the amount, the date, the payment reference and whether the payment succeeded, along with the name, email and phone number you gave on the payment page. Razorpay’s own privacy policy applies to the data you give them.

When you browse the website

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The site keeps one small note in your browser for the current visit only (so the home page introduction plays once), and nothing is sent to us from it. Like any web host, our host Netlify processes basic technical data (such as your IP address and browser) to serve the pages and keep them secure. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives the same basic technical data.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and talk about your project.
• To prepare a written quotation, deliver the work and support it afterwards.
• To send payment links, invoices and receipts, and to keep the business and tax records the law requires.
• To keep the website and our forms safe from spam and abuse.

We do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with the services we need to run the business, and only as much as they need:

• Netlify, which hosts this website and receives the contact form.
• Razorpay, which processes payments.
• Our email and messaging providers (such as Gmail and WhatsApp), which carry our conversations with you.
• Government authorities, only when the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data in other countries. They are established companies with their own security and privacy commitments.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become a project: deleted within 12 months of our last conversation.
• Job profiles: deleted within 12 months, or sooner if you ask.
• Project, quotation, invoice and payment records: kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, then deleted.
• Project files and access you give us: returned or deleted when the project and any support period end, unless you ask us to keep them.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email us from the address you used with us and we will reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some records where the law requires, and we will tell you if so.

Security

The website is served only over HTTPS. We limit who can see your data, use strong passwords and two-factor sign-in on our accounts, and only ask for the access a project needs.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the “Last updated” date at the top.

Questions or complaints

Write to us using the details below. We aim to resolve any concern within 30 days.
